Welcoming the summer
We are celebrating the special season of the year according to the Lunar system, the Tamil New Year’s Day to educate
ourselves to appreciate the universality and spirituality present in the Tamil life with particular reference to Auroville region.
There will be a display of ancient palm leaf books, variety of organic seeds, millets, grams, vegetables and fruits of the season,
hand woven fabrics from cotton and natural fibres, siddha medicine, varma-kalai, local arts and crafts and materials on Tamil
literature appreciated by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. You will be excited by tasting many a summer beverages, cool cool
co-colas, medicated special energised drinking water!
