His style was unique, uncompromising, humanist and poetic. He delivered "Au Hazard Balthazar" in 1966, his sixth feature film out of 13. The film shows the life of a simple donkey in the changing society of the rural France of that time. But Balthazar's story is universal in its witnessing humanity. After a quick presentation of Bresson's work and few keys to help apprehend the film, the projection will be followed by an open and informal discussion.
